Beautiful large crucifix in excellent condition in silver colour. At the base, there are two removable side statues: Mary and John. Together with Jesus Christ, they form the so-called ‘Calvary group.’ Above Christ’s head, you’ll find the inscription ‘INRI,’ and above that, a dove representing God. On each side of the base, there is a symbol for one of the four evangelists: Matthew: Depicted as a winged angel. Mark: Associated with a winged lion. Luke: Often shown with a winged ox or bull. John: Represented by a winged eagle or hawk. It is made in Zamak: Zamak (formerly trademarked as ZAMAK and also known as Zamac) is a family of alloys with a base metal of zinc and alloying elements of aluminium, magnesium, and copper.
